March 29, 2025, marks Chaitra Amavasya and a partial solar eclipse—an occasion of immense spiritual significance in Hindu society.

According to Hindu traditions, people visit the holy rivers like the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati on special occasions to take a sacred dip. Every individual performs rituals based on their needs and prayers for relief from hardships. Some light lamps, feed flour to fish, donate to charity, organize community feasts (bhandaras), perform havans, and pray for peace and prosperity.

Pride in Hindu Culture and Traditions

Being Hindu is a matter of great pride. Our customs, values, and traditions have been passed down through generations, strengthening our cultural identity. During Hindu festivals and special occasions, people visit the ghats of the Ganga, Yamuna, and other sacred rivers for a holy dip, where a large number of women are also present.

The Necessity of Changing Rooms at Ghats

To ensure the comfort and dignity of women, every ghat, regardless of its size, must have a mandatory changing room. This will prevent any discomfort or embarrassment for our mothers and sisters.

Appeal to the Government: Prioritizing Women’s Convenience

On behalf of all women, I urge the government to pay special attention to this issue. Priests, staff members, local authorities, and society as a whole should come together to push for this demand. We must raise questions, make requests, spread awareness, and take all legally viable actions to make this initiative a reality.

Strengthening Unity in Hindu Society

Such small yet significant efforts will not only strengthen Hindu society but also enhance our unity. If there are any errors or areas for improvement in my message, please let me know so that I can refine it further.
